I disagree with half the crap on there... Katatonia's not even metal anymore, but whatever, you voted, you got it! #1 was my #2, and my #1 actually made it this year, so I'm happy enough.

Mr. Ian didn't give me the names of the voters, but somebody had 7/7 of their votes reach the top 15. You, sir, are winner. Me and one other person got 2/10, but my votes were less popular, so I win at losing.

Cryptic Wintermoon - Pride of Australia (edited because I didn't want the vocals proper coming in) from their 2009 album, Fear. Best melodic black metal album of the past year.

I felt that it represented the album best. A couple songs were fronted by Devvy making angry noises, most of the album was, as you say, poppy.

^^ there was youtubefgts jumping on the video before I even posted it here (I was waiting for it to activate and therefore didn't post it immediately)

^ *high five* HMS official winner wins again. And it's "the shattered fortress". After spending thirty seconds searching I couldn't find any small downloads for the Dream Theater album and just got the first part of a multi-part rar. It only had three songs, all three were screwy and incomplete (which is bloody weird, I've never seen someone do that with an album before, it's almost always only one song that gets split between parts with as many as can fit being full) so I didn't have much choice on that song. :shrug:

What? Me do a half assed job on the video? No... couldn't be...

Oh yeah, I just remembered, it was Kyle who also got 2/10 in the top 15, I know because he just posted his votes in the thread. *high five*
