I won't lie, I don't have Siamese Dream, and only have Mellon Collie, but its a freaking awesome album, some really enjoyable songs, and I love listening to it on a rainy day for some reason. XYU is such a great song, as are the obvious ones. However I downloaded the new one today, after seeing basically a bunch of pretty bad reviews, and to be honest its really not that bad. Its not revolutionary or experimental but what can you expect? Its just a lot of fun, and there's some great hooks. Gonna try and get my hands on Siamese Dream within the next day or so. Anyway, fans? Anyone heard the new one?

I like Bullet With Butterfly Wings and two other songs I've heard on the radio, I've never heard a whole CD.

Got Siamese Dream, and its the pwn. On a side note, I actually used to hate Corgan's vocals when I heard them on the radio, and was like "SO ANNOYING"... but now I love them I think you either love em or hate em

Billy Corgan sounds like a cat being strangled by a cat, whilst vomiting a cat.

Disarm is pretty epic though.

I got used to Billy's voice pretty quickly. Over the years, most modern rock bands I lost interest in but the SP I still like. I think because it's just quality stuff with lots of emotion. I even liked Adore and Machina despite all the people bashing these albums.

I've heard good things about Zeitgeist, and from what I've heard (Doomsday Clock and Tarantula) it sounds like a solid album. I probably wait a while before I buy the album though, new albums are pretty expensive here.

This album has grown on me big time... mainly the first 5 songs, they're totally balls out. The rest needs some time, but it was definitely enjoyable. I think the people that accused Corgan of just using the name to release and album and try and become a rock star again are a little ridiculous. The lyrics are different for sure, but Smashing was always HIS band, and I don't really ever think he was about making money or gaining fame. Besides, who cares, its an enjoyable album for sure.

Search function Anthony, DO YOU USE IT!?

Oh, and they are a good band. "Disarm" is probably one of the most beautiful Rock songs I've heard.

Been listening to Disarm a decent amount the past couple of days. I've always liked it, but when you give it a few listens, its like the most depressing thing ever.

The Pumkins actually came to a party at my apartment once back in college after a show at Redbird Arena. My roomate knew them from when they were first starting out and invited them over.

Yeah yeah, I didn't think it was horrible. It wasn't nearly as good as anything prior to it but it was okay.

i mean this band has always meant a lot to me, been listening to them for ages, but don't get back together, hype up your fans, call a comeback and release crap.
